SUMMER
PROGRAMME
We're currently putting
together a summer programme of trips including Kelvingrove Art Gallery,
Summerlee Heritage Park, the People's Palace, Ayr Beach, Tollcross Park
etc.
We're also planning some
exciting activities in the centre, e.g. arts and crafts, games,
challenges, quizzes and a summer beach party with treasure hunt.

Our
out of school care takes place in our large main hall. We collect
from our 5 local schools, which are. St Bridgets, Garrowhill,
Swinton, St Francis and Caledonia. We can accommodate 40 children
both for after school care and holiday cover.
After
a day at school most children are hungry and ready fur fun!
We offer a selection of healthy snacks seated round the table and an
opportunity to chat about their school day.We
use the resources available to us to create a safe, stimulating
environment where the children can choose to take part in a
structured activity such as arts and crafts, cooking, dancing, free
play in our “dress up” corner, jigsaw,
board games, cards. We offer the opportunity for physical play in our
outdoor play area or local park and relaxation time in our sensory
suite. If parents wish we can also encourage children to do their
homework with help from staff if they require.
Always
aiming
to
raise our standards: we have monthly meetings where the
children have the
opportunity to tell us what they like and what they feel we could
improve on. We listen and act upon comments to improve our service,
making our after school care a fun, stimulating place to be!
