Corner was in the
news
due to a fire during the night of the 1st of September. Ruth Ramsay was
contacted at 2am with
the unfortunate news that the main hall of the church had been gutted
by fire. The good news is that even Ruth had finished work by that time
so the building was empty, and most of the equipment is stored
elsewhere so was undamaged.
The nursery have excellent neighbours in St. Andrew's church and were
given the use of their halls to continue activities as normal so
disruption was kept to a minimum. A big thankyou to everyone for their
help during this time.
